**Colorado is one of the few states that you will start by studying first and must get a Certificate of Completion.
To be eligible for a Certificate of completion, you must follow several steps:
• Completion of the course, practice final exam, and the Certification Exam.
• Submit an electronic affidavit acknowledging you were actively engaged in one hundred percent
of the course and your participation during the periods of perceived inactivity.
• Download and Print the certificate through the “Transcript” tile on the user dashboard.
• Certificates are valid for 1 year.
• Course completion rosters will be reported to NIPR within 5 business days.
• Education providers are required to collect and report students’ DOB and last 4 of SSN.
o To avoid licensing delays, make sure the name on the certificate matches the name on the government-issued photo id.

NOTE: We (Victory Lap Admin.) will pay for the pre-licensing courses (up to $210) AFTER you send a screenshot/email of your test registration. Let’s knock this out!

· When it asks “What is the four (4) digit number of the school you attended for Pre-Licensing Education?”

· When it asks “What is the course completion date for your PE courses?
Put in today's date
· To change or cancel your testing appointment, you must call (866) 407-2057 at least 48 hours in advance or forfeit the examination fee.
· As long as you are not within the 48-hour window right before the test you can reschedule to give yourself more time or if you want to take the test earlier.
Once you turn everything in and complete wait 2 business days and call the state Department of Insurance and confirm they have everything.
The average time to receive your license is 5-15 Business Days.

**Colorado requires you complete 100 hours of pre-licensing education. 50 hours per line.
